A Playlist for February 2021

While it wasn’t my intention to create a Black History Month playlist, the results feature some musical legends and geniuses, for sure. I created this playlist after a trying day—after too many hours of sitting in front of the screen with my Lume cube shining in my face. My lipstick was going on strike (!) and my shoulders were hunched. I felt drained. And so, I turned to the music that always gives me energy, hope and a resetting of my spirit. I turned to vintage R&B, of the “Quiet Storm” variety. I hope you enjoy it, too!
